Sh*t Ground No Fans!

#Watford v #Leicester

That's what our fans would usually sing on an away visit to #Watford but yesterday's game sadly had a ring of truth about it. We started brightly but then #Watford I thought dominated and were unlucky not to take the lead on two occasions but #Kasper made himself big and saved the day. Their first chance on goal was our own fault. We gave away the ball in a dangerous place, we need to ensure when passing out from the back we give players options. In the first half we didn't move the ball as quick as we should and with #Watford defenders sitting deep we needed more width and better crosses to try to open them up. The second half I thought was better, we moved the ball quicker and we were unlucky when #Albrighton who had definitely not been to a hairdresser hit the post with the keeper beaten. As the game went on #Watfords threat diminished and we controlled the game. #Gray came on as a sub and made a difference and set up the goal for #Chilwell who must have been as surprised as we were to see his rasping shot from the edge of the box hit the back of the net. But sadly we could not hold onto the lead and a series of last minute long throws and corners by #Watford caused panic in our defence and the ball dropped to #Dawson who swivelled and then smashed the ball towards the goal, sadly #Kasper got a hand to it but could not prevent it going in. So the game ended all square at 1-1 which on reflection was a fair result.
